A family is fishing along the trout-stocked Ramapo River in McCobb's Aquatic Park. Free access and parking is available at McCobb's or the adjacent Thomas Plaza.
The area had two major floods in March 2011 less than a week apart. McCobb's is high enough that the restaurant and parking lot never flood — fortunately not even a little — but the flooding does tend to wash away the lower parts of McCobb's Aquatic Park, located behind the restaurant.
